Who We Are
Our Mission
At Women at the Well, our mission is to meet women where they are and lead them to the well of Living Water. We believe that every woman deserves a place where she can connect with others, heal from past wounds, and grow in her faith. Our ministry is rooted in the understanding that life can be challenging, and we aim to provide a supportive and nurturing environment where women can flourish.
Where It All Started
Women at the Well began with a simple desire for more — more truth, more connection, and more of Jesus. When the schedule of a moms group she once attended no longer worked for her family, Lyndsay found herself longing for meaningful community again. She knew firsthand how vital it was to have a place where women could grow in faith and do life together. So, she opened her home — offering a quiet space for a small Bible study and a creative moment making Women at the Well bracelets.
That first gathering was small but sacred. As more women came, bringing their stories, their hunger for God, and often their little ones, the space could no longer hold what God was building. Lyndsay began to pray for something bigger — not just a room, but a ministry rooted in community and open to every woman feeling lonely, unseen, or spiritually dry.
From those early days around a kitchen table, God began stirring something deeper. Today, Women at the Well is a growing movement across the Grand Strand, reaching women in churches and cozy spaces with the same heart it began with: meeting women where they are and leading them to the well of Living Water. Because we believe every woman deserves a safe place to be seen, known, and filled.
The Heart of the Well
Our Core Values
-
We are rooted in Scripture, believing God’s Word is the ultimate source of wisdom, guidance, and transformation.
“All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.” – 2 Timothy 3:16
-
We strive to fill women with the Living Water of Christ through discipleship, teaching, and fellowship, equipping them to grow in faith and flourish in every season of life.
“But those who drink the water I give will never be thirsty again. It becomes a fresh, bubbling spring within them, giving them eternal life.” – John 4:14 -
We cultivate a safe and welcoming space where women—no matter where they are in their faith journey—can be known, loved, and supported.
“So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing.” – 1 Thessalonians 5:11
-
We trust in God’s power to heal hearts, restore brokenness, and renew lives through His grace and love.
“Then Jesus said, ‘Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.” – Matthew 11:28
-
We believe that when women grow in Christ, their faith overflows into their families and communities, impacting generations to come.
“Let each generation tell its children of your mighty acts; let them proclaim your power.” – Psalm 145:4
-
We are committed to serving others, spreading God’s love, and making a tangible impact through outreach and discipleship.
“Dear children, let’s not merely say that we love each other; let us show the truth by our actions.” – 1 John 3:18
-
We seek God’s presence through prayer and worship, knowing that true transformation and renewal flow from time spent in His Presence.
“So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.” – Hebrews 4:16
How We Serve
At Women at the Well, we’re committed to walking alongside women in every season of life by creating spaces where biblical truth, prayer, and authentic connection can flourish. Each week, our Well Gatherings offer a welcoming environment for women to grow in faith through Biblical truth and meaningful conversation. Beyond these gatherings, our Ripple Impact Events allow us to meet practical needs in the community while building lasting relationships. At the heart of it all is a desire to raise up leaders and connect women to local churches and trusted resources, so that every woman can encounter the Living Water of Jesus.
